The official page says it plainly and one hands-on review describes it in the same terms, unlimited chats on the free models plus 100 monthly credits for the Pro Models. Those 100 credits are the bit that gets misquoted constantly. They're an allowance for the paid tier models, so when you read that free gives you 100 messages a month or 50 a day, that's a misreading of the credit line. Ultra Models aren't available on free at all.

So what does free really cost? Memory caps at 8K. AI reply length is capped at 225 on the page's own scale, and you can't adjust that yourself until Luxe. Imperial $2,399.88 exactly, 25.0% versus 25%. Chat Package $479.88 exactly, 37.5% versus 37%. Those badges are honest.

Standard is the odd one out. Its crossed out annual price is $79.88, and twelve months at its own $5.99 rate is $71.88, so that $79.88 corresponds to nothing on the monthly tab. Against what you'd genuinely pay month by month, annual Standard saves $13.00, which is 18.1%, not the 26% on the badge. Still a saving. Just not the one advertised, and it's the cheapest plan that carries the only inflated claim. One more thing: a Deluxe tier still shows on the page marked Retired, and you may find it quoted elsewhere at $29.99 a month billed $358.80. You can't buy it.

Under the Chat Package there are two combined packages with a Discount tag and a crossed out price. On monthly billing they're real. Premium 1 month plus Chat Package 30 days is $49.99 against $54.98, and buying the two separately is $14.99 plus $39.99, which is exactly $54.98. You save $4.99. Luxe 1 month plus Chat Package 30 days is $69.99 against $79.98, and $39.99 plus $39.99 is exactly $79.98. You save $9.99. Both genuine.

On annual billing they're empty. Premium 1 year plus Chat Package 1 year is $394.88, while buying them separately at their own annual prices is $94.88 plus $299.99, which comes to $394.87. The bundle is one cent more expensive. Luxe 1 year plus Chat Package 1 year is $599.98, and $299.99 plus $299.99 is $599.98, identical. The reason the badges look so generous is that the crossed out annual figures, $658.76 and $959.76, are the sum of the two undiscounted list prices, so you're being shown the discount each item already carries on its own, dressed up as a bundle deal. On the monthly bundles the crossed out price is the sum of the two real prices, which is why those ones actually mean something.

Practical advice: on monthly, take the bundle. On annual, it makes no difference, so buy whichever way suits you and ignore the Discount tag entirely.

Voice is refreshingly not paywalled. Every tier, free included, gets voice message access, unlimited AI voice replies, custom voice access and up to 70% off PRO voice generation. The only thing that changes as you pay more is how many custom voice slots you get: 1 on free, then 3, 5, 10, 20 and 30. That's a better deal than a lot of the competition, where voice is the first thing locked behind a card.

Group chat puts several characters in one scene reacting to each other. It's not available on free at all, and from Standard upward it runs on a single model with 8K memory, so it's a bit more limited than a one on one chat on the same plan.
