OurDream AI Review 2026: Pros, Cons, and Who Is It For

The first thing worth knowing about OurDream AI is that its checkout does the arithmetic properly, which sounds like faint praise until you've read a few of these panels. I went through two logged-in checkout screenshots of the live price panel and recomputed every figure by hand. Premium's annual card promises $120.00 saved a year. Twelve months at $19.99 is $239.88, the year is billed at $119.88, so you keep $120.00. Exact to the cent, a real 50.03%. Deluxe promises $360.00, and twelve at $59.99 is $719.88 against $359.88, which is $360.00 exactly, a real 50.01%.

Both struck-through reference prices are the genuine monthly prices as well, which is rarer in this market than it should be, so credit where it's due. Then there's the toggle sitting above both cards, claiming 75% off plus free coins. 75% reconciles against nothing on the panel. Take 75% off $239.88 and you'd be paying $59.97 for the year, and the year costs $119.88. So the pattern is exact where it counts and overstated by half where it shouts loudest.

That's the whole product in miniature, really. The maths is better than the paperwork. Keep reading for the coin rate, which nobody publishes but which the two cards let you solve for in about a minute.

OurDream AI is a companion site at ourdream.ai (the company also uses ourdream.io) where you either pick a character from a discovery page or build your own, then chat, generate images, run a voice call or render a short video clip. It's aimed at a grown up audience and the Terms state you must be over 18 to sign up.

Character creation gives you three genders (Female, Male or Trans) and two art styles (Realistic or Anime), with over 300 tags in the image builder. Chat messages are unlimited on the paid tiers. Everything heavier than text runs off DreamCoins, a monthly allowance that refills with your plan, and that allowance is the thing that decides what you really spend.

One practical note before you get attached: it's web only. There's no app in the App Store and none on Google Play, so on a phone you're using a mobile browser. Group Chats, where several characters talk with you at once, are the feature you don't see much elsewhere.

Two paid tiers, each monthly or annual. Premium is $19.99 a month, or $9.99 a month billed $119.88 for the year. Deluxe is $59.99 a month, or $29.99 a month billed $359.88 for the year. Both annual cards cut the real monthly price in half, and I mean that literally: 50.03% on Premium, 50.01% on Deluxe, with the savings badges landing on $120.00 and $360.00 exactly. Ignore the 75% off toggle above the cards. It reconciles against no figure on the panel.

Per coin, the annual cycles work out at $0.92 a video and $0.46 a voice minute on Premium, and $0.55 a video and $0.28 a voice minute on Deluxe, once you count the bonus month of coins. So Deluxe carries a best value label and per coin it genuinely is the better deal, 1.67 times better. That's worth saying plainly because two other price panels in this catalogue stick that same label on the worse tier.

One more thing from the screenshots: the logged-in panel shows no free plan card at all, only these two paid tiers on a monthly or annual toggle. And nothing on the panel or in the paperwork tells you whether coins roll over, so treat coins as use-them-or-lose-them and buy in the month you actually plan to generate.

The company is real and it's disclosed, just not on the website. The hands-on reviewing flags weak company transparency and that's fair about the site itself, but the paperwork answers it. The Refund Policy names three entities together: Dream Studio USA, Inc., Dream Studio LLC and Tektopia Ltd (Cypriot). The Terms of Service open by naming Dream Studio USA, Inc. as a Delaware corporation. The registered address signed off in the Refund Policy is 1111B S Governors Ave STE 28684, Dover, DE 19904. I counted fourteen separate published policy documents: terms, privacy, refunds, acceptable use, community guidelines, content moderation, content removal, prohibited content, screening, complaints, anti-fraud, an age policy, an anti trafficking policy and a records exemption notice. That's a heavier compliance stack than anything else I've read in this catalogue, and it deserves saying out loud.

The Refund Policy is the best in this catalogue and I'll say why. You get 14 days from purchase to report a defect or a service significantly different from its description, by email, with a stated 7 business day turnaround. Remedy is at their discretion and case by case: a credit, a replacement, a fix or a refund. Then a separate clause gives consumers in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland 14 days to withdraw from a purchase for no reason at all, citing Directive 2011/83/EU by name, with the money going back to the original payment method within 14 days of your written notice. The honest carve-out: if you start using the service immediately and consent to performance before the window closes, you can lose that withdrawal right once the service has been fully provided. Standard for digital content, and it's stated rather than buried. Crypto payments are final and non-refundable on volatility grounds, and they ask you to contact them before filing a chargeback (do it first and the account may be suspended pending investigation). Compare that to the template four other brands in this catalogue share: 24 hours to ask, void if you've generated more than about twenty items, card payments only. No 24-hour window here, no usage cap that kills the request, not card-only.

Disputes run under Delaware law, with exclusive jurisdiction in the state and federal courts of New Castle County. There's a binding arbitration clause and a class action waiver, both flagged in capitals near the top of the Terms. But there's a genuine 30-day written opt-out, which most of this catalogue doesn't offer: send your name, the account email and a clear statement that you want out, and you keep the courts. Miss the window and you're deemed to have accepted arbitration. Nice detail, opting out releases the company from arbitration against you too, so it cuts both ways.

Now the strangest clause I've read on any of these sites. If a character you create and set to Public passes a popularity threshold, they reserve the right to preserve that character's characteristics and keep it active on the service even after you delete your data and your account, on the stated grounds that a very popular character is holding conversations with many thousands of users. Their own mitigation advice is the giveaway: if you're building a Public character, keep information about yourself out of the creation flow. Practical takeaway, keep your own characters Private unless you're happy for them to outlive your account, and never model one on yourself or anyone you know.

Privacy otherwise: data encrypted at rest and in transit with AES and TLS, with the policy saying plainly that they can't guarantee security. You delete the account yourself under Settings then Account management. Retention runs as long as the purpose needs plus legal obligations and dispute resolution, and they may retain information collected from you previously. De-identified or aggregated data may be used and disclosed for any purpose including research and marketing, which is a broad clause worth knowing about. One clause I should have flagged the first time round: among the purposes the policy lists for your information is to analyse and improve the service "including to train our artificial intelligence/machine learning models". So what you type can feed the models, and that is worth knowing before you get comfortable. Third party sign-in through Google, Facebook or similar passes them identifying information from that account, and the service is global so your data may sit outside your own country.

And the gap. In roughly 35,800 characters of Terms of Service, the word renew appears zero times. So do subscription and billing. I read eight of the fourteen documents in full and renew appears zero times in any of them. The automatic renewal of a paid plan is stated in no document. The Refund Policy gets closest without ever saying it, promising you won't be charged for subsequent billing periods after cancellation, which implies renewal without stating it. DreamCoins are worse: they're mentioned in no policy document at all. No expiry, no refundability, no rollover, nothing about unspent coins when you cancel. The only in-document hits for coin are a Buy Coins button and the word coincidental. The coins are the thing that sets your real monthly cost and they're governed by nothing in writing. So buy coins in the month you plan to use them, and assume nothing carries forward.

The hands-on verdicts on this product don't agree, and that spread is worth a line of its own: 4 out of 5, 4.2 out of 5 and 6.9 out of 10, on the same service. Two read as strong, one as merely decent. My own reading of the checkout and the policies explains some of that. If you came for images, this looks like a 4. If you came for a companion that remembers you, it looks like a 6.9.

What I can verify first hand is the money, and the money is fine. Both annual badges land to the cent, the struck-through prices are real, the best value label sits on the tier that genuinely is best value, and the coin rate is the same 50 coins a minute and 100 coins a video whichever tier you're on. The 75% off toggle is the one wrong number and it's wrong by half. And the currency that decides your actual bill isn't in any of the fourteen documents, nor is the renewal, which is the finding I'd want a reader to leave with.

So: buy the year if you're staying, buy Deluxe if you generate a lot, take the arbitration opt-out inside 30 days if you care about that, keep your characters Private, and buy coins in the month you plan to spend them. The coins are the bill nobody has put in writing.
